M.H. REESE BIOGRAPHY AND PHILOSOPHY
M.H. Reese has been involved in art since the age of five.  He attended art school in New York City for over eight years, took classes throughout high school and into college, and has collaborated with various art organizations.  M.H. Reese's style uniquely combines the genres of surrealism, abstract, and modernism.  The vibrant colors and unusual use of depth adds to his stories and philosophies.  While the earliest of his works used only pencil and ink, he gradually expanded to colored pencil, craypas, pastels, watercolor, photography, and now acryllic paint. 

Of his artwork, Mr. Reese states, "Art has many aspects, all of which are equally important.  First, there are the mechanics.  Second there is the use of color.  Third, one must contribute a piece that the world of art does not see every day.  Next, one must 'think outside the box,' or even better, throw out the box all together.  Lastly, the artwork must be from within, for if it is not, you are only fooling yourself."
